PV Rentals Supports the University of St. Thomas Turkey Drive

PV Rentals was honored to support the University of St. Thomas once again for their annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive, a community tradition that brings hundreds of families together during the holiday season. This year, UST distributed 300 turkeys to households in need, and we were grateful for the opportunity to help make the event possible.

Our partnership with the University of St. Thomas is rooted in a shared commitment to service. Through the Rising Stars program, PV Rentals sponsors UST students and helps them gain valuable professional experience while pursuing their education. This partnership is especially meaningful to us because of the legacy of our founder, Odis Peavy.

Odis was a longtime advocate and supporter of the University of St. Thomas. His generosity helped shape the campus, including the creation of the Carol Peavy School of Nursing, built in honor of his late wife. His dedication to education and community empowerment continues to guide the values of PV Rentals today.

As a local Houston company, PV Rentals has always believed in supporting the neighborhoods and organizations that support us. Being part of events that bring our city together reflects what we value most. When families and students choose to work with a local team instead of a big chain, it allows us to keep showing up for causes like this one.

To support this year’s Turkey Drive, we provided a 16 foot box truck to help transport and distribute the turkeys. Something as simple as reliable transportation can make a major difference during a large community event, and we were proud to contribute to an effort that directly serves Houston families.

On November 25, volunteers, students, and staff gathered on the UST campus to organize the distribution and ensure families received what they needed for a warm holiday meal. Seeing the joy and togetherness that this event creates is a reminder of why we continue to partner with organizations doing meaningful work in our community.

We are thankful to everyone at the University of St. Thomas for allowing us to be part of such an important initiative once again. Supporting causes that uplift our community remains at the heart of what we do, and we look forward to continuing this partnership for years to come.
